Cameryn's a Star!

Cameryn loves to sing and dance, pretty much all day long if you let her. She has a sweet voice and some crazy moves. Here is her playing the piano and singing one of her songs. I thought I would try and capture the moment. Just in case one day she is famous. But she will always be my star!

Lil' Pumpkins at the Pumpkin Patch 2009

It wasn't the best idea I ever had but we tried a new pumpkin patch today - despite the grey skies. But it was very small, cute, and not busy at all. Cameryn, Derek, cousins Brady & Berkeley had a blast running around the patch, painting pumpkins, petting baby pigs, camels and kangaroos. When it started to rain, we ran with kids in tow for cover. But of course that was the kiddos favorite part. It is so hard to find a good weekend that is cool - instead of humid and 90 degrees to enjoy the kick-off to the fall!

At 4 1/2 months - Derek finally rolled over! Yeah! See video below. He (and mommy) is super excited. Must have been the air at Nikki's house. Or the soft carpet :)

Well, we are on week 2 of our trip to Nebraska. The 1st leg was spent in Hebron, which is a small town in Nebraska where Tyler grew up. I love to visit because we can run around in the soft grass - barefoot, climb trees, chase bubbles, relax and live the simple life for a while. Here are a few pics from this part of the trip. Grandma & Grandpa have a garden that Cameryn loved to care for. She picked tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, eggplant and peppers, just to name a few!

Cameryn's New Haircut

As much as I loved Cameryn's hair long and with no bangs -I finally had to make the cut. Her hair is super fine and stringy and it was driving me crazy! (Along with Cam's new habit of sucking on her hair and her thumb.) So we did it. Here is a before picture of Cameryn picking tomatos with Grandma in Nebraska....

Here is her after picture...curly and sassy! I am anxious to see how easy this cut is. Plus, it reminds me of when she was little. I am not quite ready for her to grow up yet. (gotta love the new pose she has picked up on our trip - don't think I can cut that.)

Cameryn took this picture today and I had to share it. She loves this nightgown!!!! Thanks to cousins Brady & Berkeley and Aunt B and Uncle Kyle - they gave this to her for her 4th birthday. It is so hard to get this from her and wash it - she would wear it every night if she could! :)
